Supervisors
to Meet Tuesday

The Jones County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session on
Tuesday, June 24, beginning at 9 a.m. in the courthouse in Anamosa.
The agenda for Tuesday's meeting includes:
9:00 a.m.- Auditor - Miscellaneous board approvals - liquor license,
cigarette permits, monthly and quarterly county officer's reports,
public event permits, etc. (if needed).
Approve claims.
Possible appropriation resolution shifting budgetary authority between
various departments for year end expenditure purposes.
Interfund transfer resolution for local option tax road and bridge
projects.
Resolution designating a portion of the General Fund balance for
courthouse capital projects.
FY09 Master Appropriation Resolution.
FY09 Salary Resolution.
Appointments to the Veteran Affairs Commission, Conservation Board,
Board of Adjustment, and Planning & Zoning Board.
Review proposals for a telecommunications system for the medical
clinic/office building.
Approve employer of record contract for DCAT/Empowerment.
9:30 a.m.- Desiree Gremmel, Platinum Services, Inc. - Discuss Voluntary
Income Protection Plan sponsored by Platinum Services, Inc. of Dubuque.
9:45 a.m.- JETS Director - Present Transit Equipment Use Agreement and
Purchase of Service Contract with ECICOG.
10:00 a.m.- Land Use Administrator -
10:15 a.m.- Emergency Management - Flood update.
10:30 a.m.- County Community Services - Miscellaneous board approvals.
10:45 a.m.- County Attorney - General discussion.
11:00 a.m.- Engineer - Miscellaneous board approvals.
11:30 a.m.- Tom O'Brien, Auxiant - Discuss the stop loss insurance
coverage for the employee health insurance plan.
11:45 a.m.- Various committee reports from the Board of Supervisors.members of the U.S.
team will be named at the
Olympic training camp.
