FUN & FLICK - FRIDAY, FEB. 12
Camp Courageous will be holding Fun and Flick, Friday February 12 from
6:30-8:30 P.M. Fun and Flick consists of open swim in the indoor pool,
games in the gym, and the movie Up on the big screen in the camp lodge.
Refreshments are provided for all who attend. The cost is $5.00 per
person and all attendants must have a release form signed by a
guardian. Release forms will be available at the door. The event is
open to all who would like to attend, but an adult must accompany
children under nine years old.
24 HOURS OF BINGO - SATURDAY, FEB. 13
Camp Courageous will host 24-Hours of Bingo on Saturday, February 13,
2010. This event will kick off in the camp's lodge at 12:00 AM early
Saturday morning and run until 11:59 PM Saturday night. Along with
bingo there will be activities throughout the day.
All day Saturday, from Midnight to Midnight, people can come to the
lodge at Camp Courageous to play Bingo and win fun prizes. Free Raffles
and a Grand Prize Raffle will also be held. Food and drink will be
available on site. For a nominal donation, people can play Bingo for as
long as they want during the 24-Hours or they can play for just a few
hours. All proceeds will benefit the camp.
DAD & DAUGHTERS DINNER AND DANCE - SUNDAY, FEB 14
Camp Courageous is planning a “Dad & Daughters” dinner and dance.
This special event is scheduled on Valentine’s Day, Sunday, February
14, 2010 in the camp’s main lodge.
The evening begins with arrival at 5 p.m., followed by dinner served at
5:30 pm and dancing until 7:30 pm. Musical entertainment will feature
selections sure to please both Dad and his Daughter(s) as they enjoy a
unique evening together.
Tickets for the event are available for $25.00 a couple and $10.00 for
each additional daughter. Tickets need to be purchased in
advance. For tickets or more information contact Sharon Roller at

(319-480-0952). All proceeds for this event goes to benefit over
5,000 campers with special needs who visit Camp Courageous each year.
